FUT 16 now includes and improved buy and sell system

The EA Sports FC Catalogue allows you to spend FCC, a form of currency earned by playing every mode in the game, on Ultimate Team boosts. These can be an extra squad slot to create a new Ultimate Team, a 99-game player contract, a bigger Transfer List pile, or more importantly: Coin Reward Boosts. You can easily check if the card you’re buying is good value by comparing it with similar cards also available. If a card is offering similar specs at a much lower price, it might be a good idea to opt for that card instead.

FIFA’s FUT mode, also known as the Ultimate Team mode, opens you up to a number of possibilities, with changes and additions made so that you can get the best out of your roster. This involves building strong team chemistry, earning coins and acquiring packs of cards featuring different players. So what are the essentials that you need to keep in mind when messing around in FIFA 16’s FUT mode? We take a closer look.

When you are forming your FUT Draft team, you must quickly set a game plan to create chemistry, be it around nationality, leagues or clubs. One of the biggest mistakes you can make is to allow an automatic selection of substitutes. Make sure you select everyone manually, since sub players can prove to be more effective than the starting 11. As for the manager, choose one that is compatible with the majority of players.

A hybrid team essentially comprises of players belonging to different nationalities who also have some common factors which enhances the team chemistry. The idea of creating a perfect hybrid team is to divide your entire team into two smaller teams. You need to divide the field into left and right, each having players from different nationalities, with neighboring positions - Midfielders and Centerbacks - sharing common bonds.

After getting to know your roster a bit, head to the store in the FUT main menu. At the start of your FIFA 16 Ultimate Team career, you will have a balance of 500 coins to work with. Once in the store, check the Browse Packs menu. Open the complimentary packs supplied to you. Check your haul for high-ranking players and consumable assets like kits, stadiums and managers. If you receive a player or asset in a pack that you feel you have no use for, select Quick Sell in the options, and instantly get credited coins back to your account.

Conversely, select Send to Club if you intend to keep the player or consumable. Go into the Squad tab and use Concept Teams to try out on a virtual pitch. You can see here how your dream team might work. Work out their positions and check the chemistry . This is vital to see what will work and what won’t. Start with single player and aim to take on challenges that are a little out of your comfort zone. The higher the challenge the bigger the reward, but don’t play modes you’re not able to win on.

FUT 16 now includes and improved buy and sell system wherein the prices will have a wider range compared to the previous iterations. EA Sports plans to keep the price range as wide as possible provided there is less coin farming. The developers have taken steps against coin farming by tweaking the economy system. To begin with they have split the Transfer Market across generations which basically means that items cannot be shared across cross gen.
