FIFA 18: Some Amazing Hidden Facts and Secrets

Millions of us play FIFA every year, so we get accustomed to how the game looks. Usually we're mostly interested in the changes to the gameplay, as we try and figure out what the most overpowered type of shot is this year, or which formation works the best.

But EA Sports is constantly putting extra small details here and there, so here are some little secrets you might have missed in FIFA 18.

For instance, did you know that if you're using one of the new Icons in your FUT team, then the crowd in your home stadium will show a little extra appreciation? They're usually tough to spot, as the action is mostly focused on the pitch, but up somewhere in the stands you should be able to find flags with the face of your Icon on them.

Also, if you're using a national team, the regular corner flags will be replaced by the flag of the home team's country.

Last month we discovered one of the lowest rated players in Ultimate Team isn't even a professional footballer. He's actually just a kit man.

There are 10 players rated 46 in FUT, which is the lowest score right now. Unfortunately, four of them are from Grimsby Town. If you sort by rating on Futhead, Grimsby's Max Wright comes last. He's supposedly a right winger, but his defending stat of 34 is better than his woeful shooting stat of 33. This unwanted accolade has done wonders for his price on the transfer market though.

It seems everyone wants the worst rated player in the game, plus he can be put on your bench to make your overall team rating go down and make your matchmaking slightly easier.

Somehow, there's a player in FIFA 18 who plays for two different clubs. Saudi Arabian goalkeeper Muteb Sharahili has two cards in the game, one where he plays for Al-Nassr, and another where he plays for Al-Raed.

Last year he was on loan to Al-Raed, before going back to Al-Nassr at the end of the season. Then, he completed a transfer back to Al-Raed a few months later, so it seems the FUT system has had trouble keeping track.

Did you know there are Coca-Cola kits you can wear in FIFA 18 Ultimate Team? They're pretty rare though, and you won't often find them on the transfer market.
