Most players finish the game with plenty left in the tank. This means that subs are meaningless much of the time. It also means that the opposing team can run a high press and chase the ball around the back line for easily 60 or 70 solid minutes without showing signs of wear. Absurd. I can't determine if this is due to player proportion or poor AI defensive tactics or exactly what the cause is but you can easily find your way from the edge of your own area to the opponents touchline with virtually no concern about whether the ball will be intercepted or if an opponent will close your player down aggressively.
