EA takes full advantage of the benefits of next-generation hardware on Xbox One

Fifa 15 is doing what Electronic Arts has always wanted to do – it is looking like the football we watch on our televisions and in pubs, and it is playing in a way that makes us feel like we belong on the pitch and not in the stands or on the sofa. The game does more than ever to simulate this sense of emotional authenticity, bringing it into the matches as well as the build-up. Throughout the 90 minutes then, players continually interact with each other, creating moments bordering on actual humanity. Rivalries start to get physical after two or three enthusiastic tackles, opponents push each other and exchange shouted insults.

"A version of FIFA 15 will also release on the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita handheld entertainment system this Fall. Not all game features are available on all gaming platforms," wrote EA in the game's announcement press release.

EA says they're pulling out all the stops for this game, as they intend to take full advantage of the benefits of next-generation hardware. This will result in a better, more authentic all-around soccer experience. If you're in the US, you'll be seeing star Clint Dempsey on the cover, as the company announced previously.

FIFA 15 will have overhauled visuals as well as a revamped team intelligence, exploiting the massive processing capabilities of next-generation consoles such as the PS4 and Xbox One, according to Digital Spy. All of the 22 players on the field will now show emotions for the first time ever, ranging from being calm to upset and aggressive, depending on the stakes of the match and the situation of the players. For example, end-of-season league battles and cup finals will make them feel more tense.

It needed greater positional play relative to your opponent, more attention paid to passing lanes, and improved timing in the tackle. Players that don't like this system can still change to the old one, dubbed "Legacy Defending" in the settings, but this will only apply to offline games, so the best thing is to get used to Tactical Defending if you ever want to venture online for a competitive match.
