Arguably the biggest addition to FIFA 16 is the womens teams

FIFA 16 is a football simulation video game by EA Sports. For the first time in the FIFA soccer game series, the game now includes female players featuring 12 women’s national teams as follows: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, and the United States. The game incorporates 78 stadiums including 50 real-world venues. The game features great new additional features such as a new Training Mode added to Career Mode which allows the player to develop footballers in the team of which they are managing without actually playing them. This comes in the form of skill games, allowing the player to set a specific focus on which the footballer should develop on.

Arguably the biggest addition to FIFA 16 is the women’s teams, although they’ve been added in such a fashion that you’d almost miss them if you didn’t know they were there. Only 12 national sides are included and you can only take charge of them in three game modes: online friendlies, offline tournaments and standard exhibition matches. That’s pretty stingy in comparison to what the men get. Still, it’s an inclusion that should be applauded and it’s clear that EA has taken it seriously, rather than just making 11 more feminine Andy Carrolls for each side. The women’s game is slightly less physical and the opposition doesn’t press so intensively. It feels a little more like last year’s game, but considering the 5-star review we gave that, that’s not meant as a criticism.

This will also add to the transfer value of the player. For all of you soccer fans out there this latest release in the FIFA series will not disappoint because there is a lot to like about this game. There are a few changes this year in FUT. The first being FUT draft mode where you buy a token to compete for prizes each win gives you better prizes. This mode gives you access to players the best players in the game. You get to pick between 5 players for each slot. EA claims it has security measures in place to stop coin selling. Well lets hope it work because the coin sellers spoils the game for everyone with players in certain prize range being bought instantly and then listing them up for a quick profit. So far I have not been able to get an online game with the game saying no opponents found, I really hope its because I have a one star bronze team. It would be a big disappointment if it keeps saying that when I build my 5 star squad. For now its offline seasons games and trading until I can afford a gold squad.

A couple of other new elements stand out as incremental revisions that transform matches for the better. My favorite is another defensive one: players break faster on loose balls and make moves to intercept accurate passes if close enough to do so. From an attacking perspective, new harder passes (on PS4, hold R1 while hitting X) are an always-satisfying method of zipping the ball between these more observant foes, while properly whipped crosses and drilled shots prove to be potent weapons once you’ve adjusted to the more stringent defending.

From a personal standpoint, the one major frustration remaining is that it’s still impossible to specify which players go up for set pieces – a vital tactic for sides with big defenders, such as Stoke and Crystal Palace. Producer Nick Channon frustratingly confirms it’s not one that’ll be rectified anytime soon.
